The last thing the MAGA cult is interested in is policy and competent administrators. They want to hear someone criticize Hunter Biden, give the bird to the media and the eastern elites and hopefully abolish Obamacare, even if they don’t realize they receive it. Fox News taught them to think that way.
I enjoy your media observations. But this was a political commentary so I pass. I already read scores of commentaries about politics. But observations about media performance--warts and all--are too few.
Excellent reminder, Dave! However, you are preaching to the choir. The trump supporters I know state how smart he was to get rid of those cabinet members. The gathering in Des Moines was a fun event! It was good to meet so many great writers in person.
Anyone who could stand the constant stupidity spewed by Trump (like injecting chlorine to cure COVID) and his daily name calling, has to be a "special" person.
A couple more of his hires for cabinet positions are Ben Carson and Betsy DeVoss. The doctor is probably a capable surgeon, but was totally out of his element as a government official. Betsy DeVoss' capabilities?
Right, Larry. They at least lasted four years although even DeVoss resigned in disgust after January 6th. I left out Scaramucci, too, but he only lasted a matter of days.
